Sponsor Highlight: OnTime® (by IntraVision)

During the lead up to the Social Connections VI event in Prague in June, the team will be highlighting each of our valued sponsors in turn.  We are delighted to have their support  – without it we really couldn’t deliver this event and offer the completely no-fee attendance that we do.

We are excited to announce another return sponsor for Social Connections, this event a silver sponsor:  OnTime® (by IntraVision)

OnTime® Group Calendar for IBM Connections

OT_Logo_By_IV_Colors_WEB (1)At OnTime® we have always been focused on delivering the number 1 group calendaring solution to our clients, no matter where or in which context they work. Therefore it was obvious for us to introduce “Real Calendaring” into IBM’s social platform – IBM Connections.

OnTime® Group Calendar for IBM Connections joins the circle of full social coordination

  • Coordinate and schedule your meetings directly from IBM Connections.
  • Full group calendar functionality supporting dynamic project groups in IBM Connections Communities.
  • Search and find available help right now directly from your IBM Connections Communities.
  • Easy access to availability of colleagues from IBM Connections profiles.
  • Real Time information… everywhere.

And OnTime Group Calendar does so much more…

  • Supporting full coordination on Notes and Web.
  • Supporting full coordination while you are on the road.
  • Integrate all calendar data with your External Calendar solutions, for example your CRM system.
  • Bring different mail platforms together. Now both users in the cloud and on premise, from both IBM and Microsoft, can get the full overview and benefits.

Does this sound interesting?

We are social people, so come talk with us at the OnTime booth during the conference.

By Social Connections

Although IBM Connections has been in the marketplace since 2007 it is still a relatively new product by IBM/Lotus standards. The larger LUGs (Lotus User Groups – such as UKLUG and ILUG) tend to focus on traditional Lotus technologies – Notes, Domino, a little Sametime and TDI with lots of the newer XPages thrown in the mix. The WUGs (WebSphere User Groups) tend to concentrate on core WebSphere technologies such as the Application Server, Portal and Process Server. In addition, these events can be very technical in nature. Therefore we feel there is a definite space for a Connections user group with a strong focus on social collaboration technology, aimed at both existing and prospective customers and partners, and at individuals with both business and technical perspectives. We meet twice annually, in late Spring/early Summer and again in late Autumn/Fall, and from 2015 onwards we will be splitting the events between the USA and Europe. In addition, through the use of these great social tools, we aim to keep a dynamic and lively online community going all-year round! The events will be social in nature, with a strong desire for real face-to-face networking and knowledge sharing as well as delivery of useful content.
